Latest Traveler Review: The Russia House: At first seems like a cool place to meet friends for a drink and possibly enjoy dinner. However I would not recommend it. I've been to many restaurants and lounges in DC and thought the Russia House was way over rated. The couches are dirty and forever old. Drinks are over priced along with a small menu which is way over priced for what you are actually getting. I think it used to be looked at as a trendy place to go but I've noticed the crowds getting smaller and the last time I was there I ran into men wearing sweat pants and woman in t-shirts and flip flops?? Also the bathrooms had not been cleaned in days. I did meet one of the owners, however he non-stop talked and couldn't take a social cue to leave us alone.
