Latest Traveler Review: On Thursday 09 NOV 06 at 6 pm I went to the Front Page. My friend and I sat at a four person table outside because we were expecting two other people to join us. Our friends brought two extra people for dinner, so there were six of us. We were standing around the table trying to figure out how to seat everyone and the doormanager (a tall red-haired man) instead of moving the EMPTY table with two chairs that was on the side of us to join ours the manager interjected into our conversation with a rudely stated, "you can't have extra chairs." At this, one of those joining us for dinner left immediately. The other three people went inside to grab and drink and wait as my friend and I finished our drinks (and not the $2 cheap beers offered inside) so we could join them and leave to another place that would accomodate us. At that point the very nice waitress (petite and blond) offered us another chair, so the problem was solved as far as we were c oncerned. Our friends came out from the bar and sat down. We intended to sit there and order food and more drinks. But the door manager rudely told the three people who had gotten drinks inside they had to go back in to drink them even though the waitress said she didn't mind and there were already people at the table who had ordered outside. The door manager seemed to be trying to provoke a fight with us but as a military member and peace officer were at the table we would not bring ourselves to that level and asked to speak to the main manager (a short darker-complexion balding man). He came out with an attitude ready to attack us. He was not the least bit cordial or polite. I understand they have a very popular and profitable restaurant so they do not have to be nice to people to keep business, but I have been a waitress before and know it is managments' job to accomodate paying customers, but instead these two men circled and eyed our table like vultures, until we left. We are five professionals, never once raised our voices, but were treated like we were the dregs of humanity. I have NEVER been treated like this. The waitress remained polite throughout and we tipped her nearly 300%, but chose not to provide anymore money to the establishment by ordering our dinner there as originally intended. When I told the main manager we would never come back he simply said "okay."
