We had some garlic bread which was nicely done, crispy and tastly and some cheese bread also very nicely done. Then for our main meal We had meat and seafood platters, and I just loved the seafood, juicy and tender with a delicious smoky sort of flavour. Some of the meat was quite dry, though (the chicken and pork).
We completed the meal with coffee, the cakes kadaif a miss, but the wheels look more attractive and this was really well made, much better than estaurant coffee usually is. Prices are about "average" for an Inner West restaurant but the servings were much bigger. Food was well cooked and tasty for the most part but a little daunting when you are presented with an entire animal crumbed before you! The plates were huge and the tables were small and the food often hangs over the sides.
Great service, friendly and welcoming, yet not at all over-intrusive. Efficient, and everything timed perfectly, good amount of time to sit and enjoy our meals, a good place to return.
