Latest Traveler Review: I just returned from ordering a large order of ribs at the Capitol Q near Chinatown. The ribs, though plentiful, were layered in fat. Some ribs, mostly fat with little meat, were inedible. I've had better. In fact I've never had worse. The sauce was so- so. And they lather it on before you can even say "sauce on the side". The side dishes were also dissapointing. Baked beans that tasted as though they came out of a can. Corn that had no taste at all. The mashed potatoes were the best part and they were nothing special either. The ribs aren't cheap for what they offer. Maybe I was there on an off night but with so many strikes, why would anyone give them a second chance? I'm willing to bet that any one of the dozens of Chinese establishments on the next block would have given me better tasting ribs at half the price.
