Vienna is a history buff and classical music lover's dream, yes, but don't forget the Heurigen!
Heurige are little shacks where vintners sell their own wine and some food. They'll have indoor and outdoor picnic benches. The ones I went to were among the vineyards somewhere up above Heiligenstadt, just at the base of Kahlenberg and Leopoldberg. Sitting outside on the deck in the cool air, we could look up at the mountains, look out over the vineyards, and see down to the city. It was fantastic.
